Simple Love

Hand in hand I dream about
A simple kind of love
Unassuming, yet no doubt
Its presence spoken of
Between our hearts, conversing in
A language all their own
Not in words understood
Or anything that's shown
But sensed, quiet desire
There's beauty in the still
In a cabin with a fire
In an April daffodil
In a song sent from a playlist
For the other, meant to show
Though unable now to flaunt it
Inside it's there, we know
