Silver Dust
We've waited so long for this day
On countless nights i did pray
to our lord, to show us a sign
to give us a plan
I remember, it was way back then
Ow my love, how will I ever forget
the first time your eyes
looked my way
my smile didnt have wrinkles
and your hair wasnt gray.
So many moons have passed
so many dreams had been lost
but seems like yesterday
or maybe today
when I first saw your sweet smile
saw a spark in your eye
Each night I have prayed
for Him to show me a sign
to lead you my way.
for us did I pray
The time has arrived
to have you by my side
no longer daydreams and hopes
unfulfilled fantasies
No more wishing of tomorrows
on lonely night stars
No longer keeping this love apart
At last
silver dust is blissing our hearts.
