Silly Poet
Silly poet, I like to write in rhyme
Look at my work I do it all the time
But that is such a basic pair
And nobody is going to care
I guess that's truly fair
But there are only so many words to share
Expand your vocabulary like a boss
Use definitions as if they were floss
The ball is in your court so shoot for three
Because that is when your writing is free
Don't be afraid to hit the rim and it go out
Silly poet you can't give in to doubt
This is truly your time to shine
So don't sit here and whine
Silly poet, I like to write in rhyme
But now it's your time
