Silky Bliss
Stepping up
On to the block
Take positions
For the starting dive
Waiting for
The countdown
To one
Then the gun
Taking off
For yards
At a time
Feeling the
Silk slide
Across my body
Three strokes
Deep breath
This I repeat
To beat out
the competition
Every stroke
Every breath
Every second
Puts me closer
To the top
To the sense
Of accomplishment
Being in this
Is a nice
Silky
Bliss
