Silently Spoken

Whispered softly in the ear
So close you feel the person breathe
The feel of warmth exudes from them
Said those few words, so to believe
Meant just for one, the person, you
The words get carried through the mind
As images produce from things then said
With nary a thought then left behind
As focus turns to all you dream
Nighttime journeys then take flight
Because the whispers, soft within the ear
Brought so much pleasure on this night
Then when at last your being sleeps
All those secrets, then yours to keep
