Silent Sorrow
Silent Sorrow-
Bent in the Morrow-
With wiggling toes and fingers…
Learned in youth-
The best is the truth-
And whispering fears don’t linger.
Can’t ignore what I’ve felt,
Can’t deny the heart-melt,
These are thoughts I can not say-
Pen to paper is my easiest way.
For now, in silence, I will stand-
To wait with patience for your hand.
