Silent Weeper

She is a devoted mother of two
A caring, beautiful wife too
She sings to herself so charming
When walking to her school each morning

When she greets even in a morning rush hour
Her face blooms with a smile like a flower
Her walk is brisk as in youths
Admiring the beauty the nature soothes

Her eyes are always red and swollen
As if her sleep was mercilessly stolen
If someone asks, she says with much hesitation
She got scratchy eyes, a mild irritation

She visits all her friends whenever possible
But invitations to her home always has an obstacle
She is a perfect lady I admired a great deal
Married to a depressed hubby, agony well concealed

This is so sad and it happens WAY too often around this world. Just read the reports on domestic abuse and it's not far from HALF the world's female population suffering from it. You did the topic very well.

If you put a space after every two lines it will be a couplet. The Rhyming scheme works. The poem itself is excellent, families of depression sufferers have a terrible burden to bear and may fall into depression as well. It is a frustrating and helpless feeling and in many cultures mental illness is seen as weakness so families do their best to hide it.
