Silence So Loud

My words are few and light
My thoughts so heavy
I speak aloud, in my heart, my mind
But never with my lips
Even when l breathe heavily
And then l want to shake it away

Its so close
And it beats like drums
The silence more of calm eruptions
And time and time again it erupts
In loud silence

The fear of holding on
To what one cannot keep
Screams tense within
The fear of rejection more superior
And in a heart, deep seeded hurt is carried
In silence

My lips are sealed for another reason, but I can so relate to your poem. Welcome to PoetrySoup :)
