Sign of the Moon

Our eyes locked from across
The room and for a moment
It seemed that it was lit by
             the moon

Timed stopped,no clock
    Just us...what luck

Then with a snap and a bang
            Reality rang
That clock that had stopped
      Was moving its hands

      A dream it has been
No real love it would seem
Or is it a sign from the night
     Of your impending light

     For time I must wait
        To see if it's fait
That by the sign of the moon
     We  meet in that room.
