Sign of Hope
I hope someone uses some of my lines as quotes
I hope my words inspire some to carry on
I hope my rhymes encourage you to stay strong
I hope my poetry provides you with a sign of hope
Maybe I'm too honest for my own good
A former self-harmer, who's bipolar with anxiety & depression who's never known love
Raised in foster care because my parents preferred drink
I put it all out there when I'm sharing with ink
I was made to feel worthless and taught I couldn't
Bullied and picked on, but made it past times I thought I wouldn't
I'm still here despite all the weight I hold on my shoulder
Had people leave when I told them I'm bipolar
Stabbed in the back by people I thought I could trust
Been through so much hurt, So I'm sorry if I don't talk about love enough
Got told there was no way out, But I created my own path
I learned to push forward even when the world tries to hold you back
I gave depression the best fight its ever had
Every lesson I've learned I write in my pad
I made it this far without any help
Been bullied, and beat down but I found happiness in myself
Behind every dark cloud there's a silver lining
You just have to have the will to find it
To get to where you need to be it may take a while
Be strong and don't let anyone break your smile
I hope someone uses some of my lines as quotes
I hope my words inspire some to carry on
I hope my rhymes encourage you to stay strong
I hope my poetry provides you with a sign of hope
