Shrouded

"Shrouded"

found in the humanity
not in the divinity
many pilates
wash their hands
of this

long enough
for the clouds
to descend
then rise
fly away

criminal as charged
electric in the body
the mind already risen
the observer now crucified
takes notes

passionately
shrouded in the crowd
lux vitae let loose
through holes in the sole
walks across waves

electric
not blue
love light
never dies
bright hues, all haloed

Shaken not Stirred...12 hrs of sustained winds of 55 to 70 in the dark, those south of me need prayers, they lost everything all I lost was sleep

That's a relief!! I was besides myself after backtracking over your comment and then learning about "Ian". I wasn't sure if you were in the Florida area, but going on your comment below, I thought perhaps. I'm relieved you are safe. We are receiving reports over here of 2million people without power and I am seeing the terrifying devastation. Stay safe over there Parker. xx

no doubt lots to graze on here, for yeahs and neighs...but I'll leave you to graze in your pastoral ;) sonnets... for now. Water for your horses when they are parched for something of more substance.

For sure, man repeats, contributes to the very crimes he punishes. From his false, manufactured position of Light. There is no darkness in God's creation, no condemnation and obliteration. This is all our own doing. Free Will. I can say this to you knowing you will understand: we create our God (our relationship with Him), that is not saying that there is not one god, the All Mighty, Unchangeable All loving. Free Will is misunderstand by nearly everyone on this planet but a few. Wonderful write!

Love (romance) between a man and a women, parent and child, is divine. No? Seems to me that humanity is obsessed with dividing the two, body vs soul, and Christ was of exactly the opposite conviction...His resurrection the proof of oneness. His body rose also. I can see where this may be a problem for some (having only the written accounts of others to go on)...from my religious and direct spiritual experiences it makes perfect sense. But what do I know? Just my two cents. Interesting subject. Thank you for your in-depth research and the sharing of your opinions. Certainly food for thought.

Interesting when you look at it from forensics. However, the romance between two humans if that is what it was, intrigues from a 'human' perspective, and not the divine. "Shrouded" is a poem about the romance between a woman and a man - for this is what many overlook, the man, Jesus of Nazareth, was human and his message is delivered through his 'humanity'. The woman, Mary of Magdala, was a witness, an oberver to the events that occurred to the human man crucified, Jesus of Nazareth. Mary Magdalene's backstory and post crucifixion story, is 'shrouded' in most part, yet her position in the story is one it would seem, of significant importance, apostle to the apostles and front and centre until the very end (if we begin with her prominent place in the story of 'The Crucifixion', which details his story as a human, 'ending').

Apparently she was the first one he made contact with, whether he rose from the dead supernaturally or was saved by the administrations of Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemas (who took him to the tomb 'dead' and were the only ones present in the tomb, administering last rites), to live and walk out of that tomb 'a free man', and father children (possibly with Magdalene, but not proved). I would say there was great 'Love' between the two individuals. And indeed, anyone who has a relationship with Jesus, holds romance in their hearts, of the highest order. It's all a mystery, far better than any sonnets or scribbles I've read. They say The Shroud is the only credible witness to the 'Resurrection', from the forensics I've reviewed, the idea of Da Vinci producing The Shroud as a forgery using pioneering photographic techniques and a sculpture of his own head, has been laid to rest.
