Notes About The Poem

Entry for The SEVEN BY SEVEN Poetry Contest: Sponsored by: Nette Onclaud   Date wrote 8th April 26

Shroud of Dusk

Grateful for the shroud of dusk;
quiet prelude into dark;
where thin voices cease to busk;
no one sees me as a mark.
Now unseen, I see them still;
watch and rant and rage until
returns soft song of the Lark.

Indeed, light can be a purifier...but sometimes being left alone and peaceful is what we need more. Do all my writing during the wee hours of night.
