Showing His Stuff

The fool on the hill passed the test Proved he was dumber than the rest He purchased a fine auto Crashed it into a grotto And said he’d only done his best. So, if once was not bad enough He wanted to show himself tough He purchased an old roadster From a dumber old jokester, And he attempted to show his stuff. The roadster wound up in a creek Still the fool, anything but meek, Bought a nifty old Ford truck, Wrecked it in a muddy muck Understand the fool's mind was weak! Thank you, Jeff, for the honorable mention. I appreciated the notice. I can occasionally write a fair limerick, but they are not a strong point with me. Again, thanks!

Wow! Milt, This is a good take on the contest theme. I wrote one for the contest but I haven't posted it, I'm not sure if works or not. I think you got a winner on your hands. Best wishes in the contest. Have a nice day-Alexis

Oh, I don't know. I hope so. It was stort of a difficult one for me to write. I'm not really good with the rhythm of limericks. Best wishes on yours. Thanks for the read and your thoughts.
