Shoveling Snow

Here comes the county snow plow down the street, He will clear the street of snow and that's neat! I'd scooped snow, how I did strive, To move heaped snow from my drive! He just grinned dumping more snow at my feet! Entry for Charles Messina's "Same Word Winter Limerick" Contest (6 January 2019)

Fun limerick, come and live in sunny South africa - no snow in Johannesburg maybe only once in every 5 or 6 years, and only for a day! However remember my dad scooping snow from in front of our door whilst we lived in England for 2 years! Poetry wishes, Jennifer.

Thank you Jennifer for your generous comments. Since it is dead winter here in Colorado, I sure would appreciate a warmer climate such ads South Africa right now! Best to you for the coming New Year and best wishes as you continue your poetical journey - Bob

Thanks Andrea - snow job indeed! The kids got me an electric snow plow one Christmas and oddly, its kinda fun to "shovel" snow with it. Take care and keep warm - its cold here in Colo!
