writers p u r s u e verbosity ~ readers d e s i r e brevity
[Brevette form] The Brevette, created by Emily Romano consists of a subject (noun), verb, and object (noun), in this exact order. The verb should show an ongoing action. This is done by spacing out the letters in the verb. There are only three words in the poem, giving it the title Brevette. Written 30 Oct 2020

Hi Sigrid, I think you intended this for Emile and fell victim to the PS glitch that sends POTD messages to the previous day's POTD. Cheers, John (Watt)

As I have stated many times- sometimes less is so much more. You have succeeded my dear friend. :) As one reading words of another, I want to breathe in every emotion. To feel each moment. "Short and Sweet" The title alone is captivating- well, it is to me anyway. Congratulations John, on Poem of the Day. :) Hugs, Brandy

Yes, less is more. I am still learning that valuable lesson, my friend. This poem was a reminder to myself to keep that in mind when I write. You are always so kind to encourage the POTD winners, Brandy. Thank you for that, and for being you. Enjoy your November ~ John
