Shooting Death In the Street

fleeting moments in streets that fled the snares
even till they wink they kill sun or night

disheartening images left behind,  
unrespect youth  but outcast nothing fetched

ignorant truth doth give to discontent
need to get rid  that lords over their fears 

attend  to bridge the deep and outer self 
henceforth be the journey long and painful

to morrow plant newly sharpens love edge
war and violent hands shall nullify
 
mute the waste, light the way and hope for peace
that thou shalt comfort orphans left behind

Hi Eve. As Alexis said a Heart felt piece, I am afraid this is the world over these days and yes we do hope for peace but it certainly won't be in our time, I do tend to worry about my grandchildren and their future but as they say that is life, a 7 for this one my dear. Take care......Vera
