Shooting Arrows

I wonder if he hears the quiet words I whisper the simple sentence; heavy a yearning for connection. Do my heartfelt pleas play at his heartstrings? Are my earnest dreams recognized? Can he spot my pure white desire swim in this world of putrid black? Do I lack the proper way to contact him? how do I get it back? I shoot an army of arrows upwards each day. Pray with all my mind, concentrate. Im focused and persistent He wants whats best for me. But why do my arrows fall one by one to my feet? Is this defeat?
