Shoes Of Forgiveness

Hold on, this won't last forever.

Beyond this storm, is perfect weather.

Focus on the good, not the bad things.

Remember, only angels have perfect wings.

Anger and retaliation, only bring despair.

It never ends, it's never fair.

So I encourage you to toss those shoes.

So that karma, only pays good dues.

And when the days gone, you'll sleep at night.

Because you forgave, not because you were right.

A warmly uplifting free-verse poem, shaped by its clear, conversational encouragement and gentle end-rhyme. The repeated moral contrasts—storm and weather, anger and peace, rightness and forgiveness—give it a memorable, reassuring flow, while the “shoes” image makes the choice to let go feel physical and purposeful.
