Written for the Craigs contest on the melody " Diana Yukawa (???? ??) Performed at Shizumanu Taiyo Film Premiere" I did a bit of background reading on the plane crash, and Diana Yukawa, and her father's tragic demise, and what hit me the most was how the mother was pregnant when her father died in the planecrash before the violinist was born, and her mother was pregnant with her: her mother was not legally married to her father and she had to fight for the government to allow her to use his name for her children: and finally was able to use: and their story really made me feel so much. Hope you will like my lyrics
Look upon the mourning stars
feel the grieving lake flow
in silence to unseen memories,
like a ghost of a rose,
lost in the cold breeze.
Take me where I can feel
the warmth within your arms~
resting in love,
like a ghost of a rose.
Beyond the eyes of skies
that my heart can reach,
I feel the angels’ wing,
shielding over me.
Maybe the sun, the rays,
can collide in tune,
as Mama still dreams
of your last embrace.
Your name, my lullaby,
and tonight I sing hallelujah.
Let my thoughts stretch
through the bed of clouds,
where your song
lingers through my tears.
I’ll write to the moon,
listening to the wind whisper~
“gaze upon sailing cosmos
of dandelion wishes”
stirring heatwaves
of heartaches,
while the sunrise dews
fall upon paper airplanes,
to bring you back home,
from the heavens above
seven seas,
laced with pearls.
Look upon the mourning stars
feel the grieving lake flow
in silence to unseen memories,
like a ghost of a rose,
lost in the cold breeze.
Take me there where I can feel your love.
