*As an avid admirer of this song, I have had personal knowledge of this, that famous singer Kyu Sakamoto was one of the passengers who died on that ill-fated flight.
Video: Sukiyaki (Ue o Muite Arukou) - Kyu Sakamoto by YouTube

A moonlight silhouette ... of a sleeping mountain. A living forest ... tall trees in fullness. Underbrush heavy laden ... a patchwork of paths. The moon is hiding ... the stars are hiding. The night air stays cold ... light touches of frost. All creatures are in stillness. Unnatural noise awakes ... mountain forest creatures flee. Darkness astir to bright light. Chaos tangles a forest ... tall trees and brush full of pain. Heard by dazed small life below. Burning light shows the horror. Moaning, groaning, crying screams ... most are unable to move. Few hanging in trees ... subtle movements here and there. Bodies of living and dead ... scattering midst the debris. Time is of no use. Many cling to life ... many more to hope. Desperate prayers for help. Cold, the enemy of life ... reckoning befalls. Heartfelt prayers for loved ones. Devout ancestral prayers. Many sleeping peacefully ... prayers swept to memories. Opens a book to scriptures. A time of Oneness. Descendants join ancestors. In a place far, far, away. Five hundred twenty ... are joined with their ancient past. The realm of a Dynasty. Four holds on to life. Fate chooses for you.

Brilliant, William. I found your poem captivating as you described the unfolding of a tragedy. These words resonated with me: Many sleeping peacefully ... prayers swept to memories. Opens a book to scriptures. A time of Oneness. Descendants join ancestors. In a place far, far, away. Best wishes with the contest, Sara

'Twas sad indeed, Sara. The instant I heard one of my Fave international singers died aboard, I quickly upped his YouTube video. A cheery type of guy, a bubbly persona, and constant smiles, he and the rest ... to the stars. Aloha, William

I actually have really bad flight phobia, but i always travel and face my fears. And to read about this was a bit disturbing for me, and triggering. As i travel alot although i have such bad phobia. I listened to the violin version, and i might read a little more on this tragedy. If you could maybe turn this into a lyrics, this will be perfect dear hilo. As there is chorus bridge etc in lyrics. However i wish you all the best. Pleasure reading your take on it

Thanks, Ink Empress, for your valuable input. As I've mentioned in my earlier comments to you it's difficult for me when gauging a sponsor's proclivities. Surprisingly I've placed a couple of times w/Craig, too busy when Wabi was about, oh, well, c'est la vie mon cherie, and even if, I don't make it, I know you will, my friend. Aloha, William

Wow. I am not sure what the sponsor wants exactly but if this matches the music, I admire you. Very very nice.

My thanks, Andrea. These words express more of how I felt the moment I learned of the disaster, then afterward, the one passenger of particular interest to me--very sad moment for me. I noted it as in my YouTuber. Aloha, William
