Shining Star
You live your life,
And I'll live mine,
Do what you want,
But I'm going to shine!
Shine is what I'll do!
I'll be a star!
Everyone will know me,
Near and far!
You'll have a scalpel or pencil in your hand,
But I'll have a microphone and behind me, a band!
Or you'll have an eraser and some chalk,
While I'm walking on a cat walk!
I'll be friends with all the other stars,
Buy million dollar homes,
And drive elegant cars!
So you live your life,
And I'll live mine,
Do what you want,
But I'm going to shine!
