Shining Self

What a disappointment when the sunrise is covered by clouds
I guess as powerful as the suns light is
It has days when it frowns

Good days when it shines so bright
When its happy and everything is just right
And bad days when it just wants to be under the covers and hide
just like you and I  

But even on its darkest days it still has a job get done
even on the suns darkest days
its still shining light on someone
