Shine
5:30 in the morning
Wide awake
So many things on my mind
Mostly God
Thoughts shaking like an earthquake
To me it's no longer about me
It's about my ability
To clearly see
That Jesus is the only one who can save me
To give God everything that is not of me
To live for him
To breathe for him
To die for him
Stop living in sin
I can't fix my past
Even if I could
It would never satisfy me
I'd still be missing something
A relationship with Jesus is what I need
To give him everything
Stop living in greed
I want to talk about God's glory
It's not about my story
I'm not living for me
I'm living for our Savior
It's time to change my behavior
I want to reflect God's light
Be brighter than the sun
Shine so bright it hurts others eyes
Share the story of Jesus Christ
He changes lives
