Shimmered In Daydreams

Shimmered in daydreams Twilight fades the dark skies as sunset weaves its light into my weary heart – shining hope on the edge of a glistening horizon calling to me from beyond a saltwater shoreline – shimmered in daydreams as my thoughts of her refuse to rest

I hope you find rest there, on that shoreline, in the evening horizon. For me it is always the place where I can calm down and obsereve myself in a more distant way. Sleep well my friend.

I just had to look on even though I said I was closing the computer. This entry most definitely deserves to be seen and heard. Please allow me to say from what I have seen thus far the poetry gods are watching over your pen. I consider myself to be a better reader than writer but I can spot poetry a mile away. Excellent Excellent Excellent

Lisa, what a wonderful comment to leave for me. Your kindness is greatly appreciated and I am humbled by your thoughts. And don't sell yourself short, from the first poem I read of yours I could see your talent and knew that whatever I read by you from that point on would be fantastic. Thank you again.
