Shifting Sands

Looking off towards the Middle East, never really a peaceful land
But what lately has been unleashed no one can really understand
For the sands have been shifting in such an unprecedented manner
Through the goodness he is sifting, things can never be as they were

The Israeli's are again on high alert but for Israel it is but another day
For so long We would just skirt because in reality we were so far away
But then such winds would begin to blow in covering our own ground
At first it didn't really even show as there wasn't that much around

But lately the spiral went out of control, yet another vacuum created
In taking America from it's known role any such bully would be elated
Not there to keep the order anymore as our hands have now been tied
Kind of waiting for a knock on the door for WE have long since been tried

This wind has only just begun to blow with many other things to come
Everything that everyone should know if they didn't act so darn dumb
They don't sit around and bluff but instead lie in wait as We grow weak
But I've already said enough, besides, really who am I to even so speak

Hi Andrea, I would be amiss to not mention the Lord's most popular phrase "fear not". So great to hear from you, I have been negligent in my comments\reply.(I got the soup e-mail.) But it is a good thing! Hope all is well. Take care!
