Shift By John Nelson
SHIFT
THERE HE IS!
WALKING DOWN THE STREET...
I AM IN MY BLUE CAR...
AND THEN
SHIFT!
I LOOK DOWN FOR ONLY A MOMENT
HE GONE!
WAIT ! LOVER! COME BACK!
DAMN. HE IS NOT THERE!
LOVER! COME BACK!
AND THEN SHIFT!
THERE HE IS HONEY
IN YOUR REARVIEW MIRROR
HE IS...HE IS...OH MY GOD...
HE IS WEARING A PRIDE T-SHIRT
AND HE MUSCLE BOY!
OH MY GOD!
AND THEN...
SHIFT!
TURN THE CORNER! WHAT? HERE?
I TURN MY HEAD AND HE IS GONE...
WHAT THE WHAT IS GOING ON?
THERE IS NOBODY THERE......AND THEN SHIFT!
VROOM....VROOM....OH MY GOD HE IS A DREAM
HE IS MY GOD! OH MY GOD LOOK AT THAT
YES! I'M HERE....OVER HERE....IN THE BLUE CAR...
NO....NOT IN THE SHOP....HERE! I WILL WAVE TO HIM.....
WAVE WAVE WAVE
AND THEN SHIFT.
HE GONE! SOMEBODY PULLED HIM UP TO HEAVEN....WHAT?
