Shhh Listen

shhh listen...
 my interior voice
 needs to talk

 listen…
 i need silence
 the voice is so faint

 listen…
 i think I hear it
 an indelible murmur

 listen…
 it’s a breath
 with a message

 listen…
 ever so faint 
 i can hear it now

 listen…
 it’s an incantation
 akin to a sacred mantra

 listen…
 i hear it clearly now
 it wants me to stop and listen

Purely as a meditational focus though.' I think at this juncture I should ad ( hear hear) I can't think why?
