She's Alive
By Elton Camp
Rosina was ninety years old
“Sorry, she’s dead,” doc told
“Because no pulse can I feel
Nor breathing, so death’s real.”
So off to the morgue she went
Of life, there wasn’t any hint
Later came a sight to astound
Rosina was moving around
“It seems mighty cold to me.
How about a cup of hot tea?”
Home she went, seeming okay
Unaware she’d died that day
Death certificate was filled out
She was legally dead, no doubt
With the paper work she didn’t agree
Rosina was alive as even doc can see
