She's a Temptress, My Tv

Be a cowboy, the TV once beamed at me
Later on, a baseball or football star

  For a while, of 'He-Man' I was a devotee
    ~ Today, I resell Batman-type cars

They have become our Gods spending so much time with them and not enough time in God's word... Thanks for sharing Gershon excellent point...

I once remember many years ago, Lasaad, some time way back in the sixties, how tv would one day take over our lives, to a degree i feel that today, that is till the pc, and the phone overtook everything. Good one enjoyed the poetry...Harry

Television is really a pro at making us unhappy with being ourselves or content with what we are already blessed with. We still like to watch our old favorite movies, documentaries and teachers of faith online and hooked up to the tv screen, but haven't actually watched tv in years. None of us miss it at all :)

So true, Gershon. Television is a black pit that's easy to fall into. A fine write indeed. Be well. Brian

I swayed the kids away from He-Man and told them who the real master of the universe is!

I believe that back in the '50's a gentleman named Newton Minnow referred to TV as a vast wasteland
