Sheltered

The day my life became sheltered In the midst of a deadly virus It’s killing hundreds and Spreading like a raging wildfire I have to stay inside And keep my head together And try not to think Of the worst Even though it is the worse This invisible virus seems To be creeping all over The place Laid off work Shortage of necessities That’s very hard to find But you hunt for them continuously Turning my life upside down
