Shell Game

Steinbeck wrote 
A turtle
Into infamy
Into American history

He wrote of struggle
He wrote of pain
Have we learned nothing
Never getting out of the rain?

Our government officials
wants us to be better than we are
But don't teach by example
To busy playing "CZAR"

We write for world peace
For love and integrity
For our Lord
Our words are the sword

We fight the battle while those that make the rules play monopoly.
