Shell
I keep walls around me.
So no one can see.
What really lies beneath.
I don't let anyone in.
I'm afraid of what they may see.
Or what I may find.
This is still partially so.
With one exception.
That exception is you.
I found you and the walls started to weaken.
The more we talk the more they fall.
Now you see me for who I am.
Parts that no one else sees.
Parts that no one else knows.
This is abnormal for me to show.
For the walls to be down is unusual.
This should make me feel unsecure.
But yet it doesn't.
I feel secure with them down around you.
I trust you with what you see, me.
