Sheep Guide

Written for Spirit Animal Poetry Contest by Nette Onclaud on 26th September, 2025.

Had I to be a guide,
I’d lead a herd of sheep,
from dawn to dusk I'd keep watch,
steady with patient strides,
through fields of blooming green,
sharing the winds of their peace.
