She Was Worthy and Confident
She had an atrocious way about her
Even when things went awry,
She kept her anguish to herself
If I had the power to assuage my own feelings of worthlessness
To absolve myself of any perceived wrongdoings
I might enjoy her magical allure
Oh, wait, she has deemed me an auspicious opponent?
I have a tiny appetency to center my wagons and take her on.
If she was not so unpredictably worthy and self-confident
it would be an easier decision.
She comes toward me with her all-knowing power.
I shriek and run off in fright.
