She Tore It Up

`

She tore it up
for the whole world to see
Two separate pieces
right in front of me

Her face showed her hate
her actions the same
I’m sure she will say
someone else is to blame

I stood there and stared
in pure disbelief
The state of our union
no sign of relief

And hard as I tried
they still are apart
I can’t understand
why she tore up my heart

My heart, what did you think I was talking about? : )

Don't worry, Chris. Darling Nancy "will pray for you now" --- after she gets through praying for the POTUS.... Nice portrayal of a @#$%$#$%^, I mean, one of my favorite politicians. Thanks, Gershon

I sprayed my hand with orange hair growth serum, so Nancy's hair could match her hideous personality and outfits. Ha, ha. I am the wickedly good witch! DJGW

Thanks my friend. I am happy you found the humor in my poem. I didn't mean to step on one of your @#!**&%$@%$ "faves" but I just couldn't help it. : ) Here, let me shake your hand...nevermind. : )

- I can't believe she would do something like that ... maybe we don't want to understand either ... she's evil, Chris - hugs // Anne-Lise :)

Thank you my friend. But this was kind of having fun with some of the headlines here in the U.S. I appreciate your kindness though, always Anne-Lise. You are a good friend.

First of all, it was disgrace what she did! Secondly , why people are blind to all the MANY accomplishments he has made that are good for our country is beyond me!! Well done Chris :)

Love the humor . You know, when you sit on the fence you can see both sides. From where I'm sitting the grass looks the same. The livestock is different but the grass is the same.

That's funny, I like that. Thanks my friend. I know this isn't my best work but I just couldn't pass up the headline.

LOL I thought perhaps she had torn up their wedding certificate. Great surprise ending. Really enjoyed the humor at the end, Chris. Hugs, Carolyn

After reading your poem not knowing what you were talking about, I looked up “tore news”. Shocking. Nancy lost and is reacting like a child. But it’s understandable after months of her toil went up in smoke. Is there a riddle to your poem? I’ll guess: Did your wife once stand in front of you and rip the marriage contract?

She is a disgrace for most of her actions. And it’s a shame she can’t be fired but one day soon the last laugh will be on us ... so many wonderful things I have not only heard his words but am living proof of the changes :). Love the poem. Great metaphor

In a different job, she’d be fired for her lack of civil behavior. What a horrible example to our country and of our country. White apparel isn’t always for the good guys.

Not so subtle this time, Chris (lol), and because you'll take this as it was meant to match your meaning... He turned away from me from the very start... contempt plastered all over his smug face... but I didn't allow his words to break my heart... I tore them up thinking they were a disgrace
