She Perpetuates the Flame

She is the raging fire that lights my soul,
Thus I may look ahead;
She is of Heaven and of the sacred text,
The only comfort in her stead;
She is the field upon which my battles lie;
She is my sorrow and my pain;
Still she is my pulse; she is my breath,
And she perpetuates the flame.

She is the summit of the greatest majesty,
An overpowering queen;
She is the fire that warms the evermore
And the heart of every dream;
She is the light of day, the dark of night,
The wind that brings the rain,
And she is the spirit of everlasting love,
For she perpetuates the flame!

She is the music; she is the poetry;
She is all in life that I endear,
Yet she is the futility that oft I feel
When she is not standing near.
She is the shadow that veils the moon
And sometimes the darkness of my bane,
But yet she fuels the light within
And perpetuates that flame!

Wow, she could be a religious symbol or your one true love, but in any event, she is amazing! I love the lyrical quality of this one. Great flow.
