She Painted Her Lips

She painted her lips with intent to define but they began to elude
her over time.
They grew harder and harder for her to find.
She just couldn't see that lipstick line.
I think perhaps she's going blind.
She decided to paint her ears instead.
They were still firmly attached to her head.
The only problem was what people now said.
"Are you ill my dear? Your ears are bright red."

Hello Nancy, I do not know how old you are either.Yes i agree with with youI would do the same. Yes it would be fun to write a book about getting older. Enjoy your evening and your welcome my friend.

Hi Darlene, I don't know how old you are but I have seen a lot seniors do the lipstick thing and I'd rather stop wearing it then inventing a new mouth. It would be fun to write a humorous book about the perils of getting older, wouldn't it?? Have a great evening and thanks for commenting.

Nancy, I’m sorry to hear of your ex’s breakthrough case. Glad to hear he’s doing well. Sending you my sincere hope for a negative test result.

thanks Ms. Susan. I appreciate your kind words. Hope you are safe and doing well. My ex had a break thru case the day after I just went to a festival with him. He's doing fine, thankfully but now I need to get tested. Life goes on..
