She Needs To Question Her Thoughts
She doesn’t question her own opinion,
She never queries her mind,
She doesn’t examine the truth of her words,
When she leaves the facts behind,
Creating her own version of real,
A version that leaves out a heap,
Shouting and cursing and yelling these words,
Burying the truth way down deep.
And she doesn’t question how others see her,
She doesn’t understand people judge,
They judge her for her big screaming matches,
Where it’s clear she’s just holding a grudge.
So, I wish she’d step back and consider her thoughts,
Her thoughts that come to her brain,
Consider how these thoughts affect everyone,
Leaving hurt and sorrow and pain.
