She Lost Her Voice Today

The constant voice that tells me I’m not good enough and life isn’t worth living finally made me realize— it’s my own voice I’m hearing.
*I wrote this poem on April 12, 2021, as part of a ’30 days of poetry’ challenge. This was day 12 and the prompt was: Challenge yourself to write a poem that is no more than 25 words long.
