She Is Healed

She was once young and immature
Delicate to the touch, fragile to the core
Always trying her best, yet being bullied

And despite all the ugly hurtful things were thrown at her, she was secretly hiding all the pain behind her smile
whilst silently crying in the dark where no one can ever spy on her.

She was a broken soul living in pretense

Fast forward to the present
She woke up a spontaneously changed person.

She’s grown and matured into a strong and fierce spirited woman-
She’s learned to set aside the pains from the past
She stopped allowing bullies and criticisms to affect her mentally and emotionally
She is cheerfully unconcerned about who do you think she is
And she is especially without a care of pointless drama

She is healed, she’s proud
She’s got the wheel and in control of her own happiness
She is now daring and passionately enjoying the blessings of the present

What a blessing to be empowered by the ability to deeply understand our inner self.. accept who we are and be able to grow in beauty despite the ugliness and evil that might stain our souls.. You have beautifully interpreted the torment of a human being in the hands of "haters"! A heartfelt poetry, so pleased to read you, dear Akkina.. My warmest wishes. Best regards and blessings.

WoW! Anika, I can relate to your words. I was often bullied as a child. In youth I was a introvert and had low self esteem. In time I gained confidence I was able to take back my power. And the hurtful things haters and bullies said didn’t affect me. Kudos to you for triumphing over the bad things that happened to you. That ordeal, made you stronger. Thanks for sharing such a write:-) Alexis

Yes.Not easy but rise above. Your lovely words reflect self love and insight. It is them that have the problem. I was bullied from being very young, at home and at school. Why should we fight if we are not a fighter? It ruined my life, but I forgave my ridiculers.Long after the events, the olny person I was hurting, was myself. A deeply moving write, that I can relate to so much. Thank you for sharing. Take care. You're excellent.I admire your strength.

The transformation which can only happen through perseverance, will power and the will to succeed. Bullies are neither strong nor popular figures; eventually they fall victim to their own actions. Akkina, your poem instills hope and brings out a person's inner strength. Warm regards // paul

Dear Akkina, there is nothing worse than be bullied, however fortunately for me I was the son my father never had. I was in 1st grade in England, and my English wasn't too good, spoke Greek so a little boy in my class made fun of me, told my dad, he said hit him, which i did the next day. That night the boys father and the boy came to complain to my dad, my dad said aren't you ashamed that you've come to complain that a girl hit your son, teach him to be a man. i was not teased after that. love your poem Hugs, Jenn.

I think its a blessing growing older. When we learn the tools of self care and realize that what did not kill us made us more into the five pointed diamond that we are, we begin to shine for ourselves and for others. Stay beautiful dear heart, and remember how precious you are to God's eyes, and those who love you truly. xo
