She Has Outlived So Many Others

The softness of my nightgown delights me.
I admire her feeling against my skin.
She puts me in a fantastic mood.
She made me feel better when I was sick too.

I was too ill to appreciate her then.
But now I sit in my recliner, stroking her colors.
Glad that I saved her from all of those salvage bins.
She has outlived so many others that were not as soft.

Nothing like comfy clothes that are worn to soft perfection!! I wore the WRONG shirt doing yardwork this weekend... (It had a cut-out in the back that allowed for a screaming-mouth-shaped severe sunburn)! SO glad I held on to some of my old super-soft jammies, as I can't stand anything else on my back now! :O

No, I ran out of regular aloe, and was afraid to use the epsom salt/ aloe gel! Will have to get some more regular aloe soon. I know I'm being a baby about it... this is nothing compared to your recent shingles misery!

I am sad to hear about your dilemma. Poor you! Did you put aloe on your back? I hope you have some!

I am amazed what a bad mood I can be in after wearing blue jeans all day; I do not feel they are comfortable.
