She Had Pink Lips Covered In Red Lipstickipstick
I presume she had pink lips
Hidden beneath a layer of
thick red lipstick
So much so you couldn't even hear
them speak
Because transfixed and
mesmerized by them alone
Was i
Everything else my senses muted
For i could not did not see her
eye's her shadow shape
Anything in the background the
colour of the canvass i tried
and prayed to replicate
What she was wearing if her
hair was indeed down or up
As so lost was i and under spell
Both time and date did not apply
so never even bothered to look
Because when an angel appears
and shows it form
And you think you must be
dreaming
For fear to blink and awaken
Just take in and be in the moment
For as long as beauty lies before
your eye's
Pink or red and red is pink
Waiting to be discovered
In order to rendered one comatose
in statute state
Through youthful blind all seeing
old eye's
Simply presume they have everything
