Notes About The Poem

She Danced

All she wanted to do was dance,
Whirl and twirl and swish around,
Sing and love and live and laugh,
Dancing with the sound,

She danced in the rain as her colour dripped,
She danced the sheen on the road,
She danced when the sun shone hot in summer,
And she danced whenever it snowed,

Her dancing made our hearts happy,
Made people decipher the song,
Her dancing made colour from the white,
She was the one who was strong,

She was his one single paint brush,
His brush that made them exist,
His brush that made both loving dancers,
Forever embrace and kiss.
