Shattered People
Broken to pieces, their dots never match,
Their outline is more like a maze,
After their clear and precise had flown away,
Leaving their mind in a haze,
Like clouds in the wind, with a rainbow of tears,
Over cheeks of a rocky embrace,
Still, the more we see, the more we love,
Their truly pure broken cliff face,
So, we sit and we listen to all that they say,
With a coffee we have a long talk,
And, when they’re in the mood for more,
We go for a beautiful walk,
Till their dots all join back up again,
Till their rainbow has fled with the light,
Till all of those broken pieces of them,
Are, again, happy and cheery and bright.
