Shattered Coral

Blood of gems
crosses the tides

a fractured tremor
of a weary river

fog of marrow
diluted by tremors

spines chained
to the edges of a coral
sinking deep

stones upon a shore
that quivers

and the body hears
only
a wave
mute
that carves.

Ethereal and haunting, this poem flows like a dreamscape—visceral yet elusive. Its imagery is both delicate and powerful: "blood of gems," "fog of marrow," and "spines chained" evoke a quiet struggle against unseen forces. The final lines ache with a silence that speaks volumes. A beautifully abstract meditation on erosion—of land, body, and self.
