-Share A Little Of You

I would really like to know more about you
If you are comfortable to share
An idiosyncrasy ,event, a talent , pipe dream
A fact about you …. you are happy to declare

Perhaps we will learn more about each other
Maybe connect with someone new
Or just be surprised, impressed or have a laugh
When we simply share a little of  ‘me and you’

So, here is something about me
If you do share it does not have to be three~ 

~My dream since l was a little girl was to be a singer
   but l cannot hold a note!

~ l once walked through a busy shopping centre in Singapore
    with a long white tail hanging out the back of my jeans
    “Yes”….a very long piece of toilet paper!!! When l got back
    to my sister she told me and pulled it off …. we 
    were in hysterics!

~l have lived in five countries as an adult


I hope someone in P.S Land is happy to share 
Or maybe this is a silly idea
Will be interesting to see if any response
If nothing ….this poem will disappear!! Haha

Great ideal, Deb. I like the poem and your creative way to get people sharing a little info about themselves. (1) although Sara is the love of my life ... 41 years in April 2024, she is my third wife. (2) I've been both a professional bowler and golfer but enjoyed distance running and coaching more than bowling and golf. (3) I once owed a worm farm with my younger brother out in New Mexico. I don't think you knew these, LOL. I'm a little adventurous and have owned many businesses. Bill

Hi Mike….well l never… for some reason l didn't expect you to live in Florida…in my mind l thought country America….Why l don't know but l did Ha!. Water baby who loves cocktails and a burger! The problem with Poetry Soup is a tit-for-tat attitude. If I miss a poem I do not get read. I always reply to poems sent to me. I have always resided in Malta which is a handicap and so I need to research or invent. I have travelled a lot but mainly in Europe. Now I am too sick to go abroad.

Hah in singapore? I love singapore one of my fave places to live really. I gave birth there. And my dream place is iceland… and to see northern lights. Still on my bucket list.. something about me it is iv shared here i guess. I dont really know how to talk about myself. Hah. But loved reading this. Thank you for sharing. Sending you light always

Haaaa me too re Singapore, l love it! We were there for six years. Good place to have a baby! Iceland Wow….that would be fun!! I am not surprised you are well read sweet Ink! You don't have to hold the notes, Deb... sing them!!! Don't delete this. It's a great idea. On my bucket list of places to visit, #1 is Scotland... I've lived in the snowy climate of Colorado, but much prefer the rain of my home, New Orleans... On a more personal note, I'm 5'5" and eyes are hazel (on the greener side.)
