Shape Shifting Soul Poetry
The songs I sang in my lives before,
still I hear sometimes in my dreams,
the silence I know from times past,
had voices that once spoke to my soul,
the tears are memories that rain through,
but the sadness they were shed for is long gone,
I am an existence on the merit of
this moment’s breath, and the next and
next till it stops. Who am I to ask for my past,
or barter the present for an unknown future?
I know I am the same as you
and you are the same as the other one
and so on!
that distant star is our cousin and many
such cousins of star dusts that surround us.
no one heard the first blast of creation
nor the silence that was before…
our absolute reality is that we are all
part of the same, and more we think
ourselves different and apart,
farther the truth gets away from us.
I always was, I always will be,
and my existence as this body is a whim of nature,
and I want no ownership of it!
let not ignorance tether me to this body.
when I become one with all,
I am eternity.
