Shame

I lost a part of me last day. Stolen by thoughts of old. A memory in loves past-tense a bitter-sweet remembrance. Today I gave away the rest of you. Martyred to my famed miscues, self-esteem and thoughts of few. Tomorrow I’ll give away what’s left of us bartered lies and loves mistrust all in my broken and my shame.
