Shambota and the Baby Animals

Soft hearted and empathic, Shambota ran away at a young age. Preferred to live in the wild, with the four legged creatures. They did not tease, torment or hurt their kind. She was a natural shaman, wanting the world to love and heal. Her family were carnivores, for no real reason. She doubted they liked the taste of meat And yet they ate little else, loving the kill. They loved taunting her with carcasses of baby seals. Animal babies gravitated Shambota from the start. At first it was baby rabbits and baby squirrels. Now it was baby goats, and today a black swan. There is a communion which cannot be explained. The swan felt a soul connection, not understanding why. She saw the two legged, and she waddled right up to it. Shambota had not been thrown out but she was an outsider. She reached down and gently stroked the swan. Shambota lived her remaining days with the four legged, The ugly ducklings and black sheep found her daily Not understanding their soul love for her, but it was there. For they were united through peace, love, unity, faith and hope.
