Shadows of Doubt

Author Dana Redricks November 10, 2023 In shadows cast by doubts and fears, A heart feels unworthy, shedding tears. But beware the web of deception's art, For truth and lies entwine, tearing us apart. The notion of feeling unloved, my friend, Can be a mirage, a wicked trend. For love's pure essence, it does exist, Yet disguised sometimes, in a deceptive twist. Like whispers in the night, lies may creep, A cunning game, secrets they keep. But truth, though masked, cannot be contained, Its flickering light shall always remain. Behind each falsehood, a fragment of truth, A treacherous dance, a delicate sleuth. But strength lies in deciphering the real, To seek the truth, to truly heal. Yet, let us not be consumed by despair, For love's embrace, it's always there. Though deception weaves its intricate design, Love's power transcends, it will always shine. So, my friend, when feeling unworthy's sting, Remember, love's grace can truly bring Redemption from falseness, a guiding light, To banish deception, and make things right.
